Empowering Children Through Education
ASOCVP has been working for a year now to ensure quality elementary education for children, especially girls and those from marginalized communities like Bambui, to help them become the leaders and change makers of the future. We see education as an imperative tool for girls to realize their maximum potential by gaining crucial skills and dispositions that set them on the path of social and economic empowerment.
Our girl’s education programmes and projects in Bambui work through building learning ecosystems that are inclusive, gender conscious, and safe for all. We work with various stakeholders to champion the importance of girl child education and mobilize resources through donations from goodwill ambassadors, donations, volunteers and other strategies. Our education initiatives work in accordance with the Right to Education Act (2009) and National Education Policy 2020.

👉 Girls’ Education
Investing in girls’ education transforms communities, countries and the entire world. Girls who receive an education are less likely to marry young and more likely to lead healthy, productive lives. They earn higher incomes, participate in the decisions that most affect them, and build better futures for themselves and their families.
Girls’ education strengthens economies and reduces inequality. It contributes to more stable, resilient societies that give all individuals – including boys and men – the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
But education for girls is about more than access to school. It’s also about girls feeling safe in classrooms and supported in the subjects and careers they choose to pursue – including those in which they are often under-represented.
👉 Building Innovators and Change Makers
ASOCVP’s Innovators and Change Makers programme emphasises on the development of three of the most important thinking skills – Inquiry, Design and Computation in adolescents, especially girls, coming from communities. The initiative aims to equip them with critical dispositions like social awareness, scientific temperament and 21st century skills to prepare them for better life opportunities (education and economic) and turn them into change makers for their communities.
👉 Strong Foundation
ASOCVP is focused on assisting homeless families with children who need a fresh start in life. We offer a program that provides families a safe place to live while they are doing their part to get back on their feet, and working toward having a changed life.
We also offer a program for homeless families currently separated from their children and working with Child Protective Services to reunify with them.
The families enrolled in ASOCVP, are encouraged to further their education, secure employment, learn to manage their money, and take steps to overcome past hurts and challenges.
The goal for all our programs is for the participants to have a better life that will ultimately span into eternity. By donating to ASOCVP, you are part of helping to change lives for today, tomorrow and eternity.
